The Will of The Many

A book by James Islington

I spent the first half of the book learning and understanding this world. It takes a while to feel invested in it but I was still hooked by exploring the hierarchy and how Will plays a role in it. It really is a crescendo that will keep you glued to the book on the second half. This is an excellent book and it helped me realize how much I appreciate a story that, even though it is planned for a trilogy or so, gives you closure. I don't feel like I had as much of it here, if anything it opened up a lot to an interesting future. Nothing necessarily good or bad, just a preference. This is why I think the 5 star rating still stands.

It's worth a re-read and more than a few people felt compelled to give the last 100 pages another round once they reached the end of the story. I was hyperfocused once I reached the second half of the book that a re-read would just be our of pure enjoyment. The next installation comes out this November and I'm ready for it!
