The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

A book by Mark Twain

Ah Tom Sawyer! Such a witty little kid. I think there was more than a lesson to be picked up in this book. The one that stood out was "reframing". One classic example is the painting of the fence, but in one of the last chapters he's able to persuade Huck by reframing the situation. I would have loved this book much more when I was younger, some of the adventures get your imagination going. I vaguely remember a few instances when I was a kid, looking around at inexplicable events and being able to justify them by making up a story about aliens. In my journey through literature classics, this is a mid-tier, enjoyable, well-written book but I won't read it again.
