I don't remember last time I picked up a sci-fi book and this one being short from an author I like seemed like a good idea.

No regrets. The story, while not particularly new, kept a steady strong pace. Every chapter made me want more because the rhythm of the writing was contagious. Azure makes for an interesting point of view but I was not very convinced by his humor. I can't put my finger on it but it wasn't a convincing trait.

It was a fun ride and I'm happy to continue reading this if James will keep giving it a chance.
